Tammy Muff is Associate Director, Laboratory Computing at Bristol-Myers Squibb responsible for laboratory computing across business areas from research to product development and supply. Laboratory Computing is dedicated to providing the specialized support needed for computing assets which control scientific instrumentation or are part of an instruments workflow.
Tammy has spent the last several years developing and maturing the tools and processes used to manage an enterprise service focused on providing consistent, stable, secure benchtop computers across the enterprise. This has led to improved efficiency and reduced compliance risk for laboratory operations by harmonizing across sites and business units.
Tammy has a degree in Computer Science from Elizabethtown College and 20+ years of experience in Pharma/Biopharma. She has a passion for enabling IT needs in the laboratory while keeping cybersecurity at the forefront. Tammy is currently acting as chair for an active Lab Computing Community of Practice group.
