Helen’s expertise lies in connecting and engaging non-specialists with cutting-edge molecular research. She obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Manchester in 2015, before becoming a Research Engagement Manager for CRUK. Helen moved to Copenhagen in 2016 where she was appointed Academic Liaison Scientist for LEO Pharma Open Innovation. There, Helen focuses on creating business value which aligns with each partner’s unique interests, in order to maximise scientific innovation for mutual benefit.
