This Privacy Policy applies to the use of all websites operated by Open Pharma Research Ltd. (“OPR”), including but not limited to the OPR website and all Lab of the Future websites (“the Websites”).
This Privacy Policy applies to all services made available or purchasable on the site, including but not limited to: virtual events, physical events, hybrid events and content from all form of event (“Services”) and includes all email and contact lists used for event mailings and general communication.
OPR ensures that all identifiable data (“Personal Information”) provided by registered or general users (“the User”) or accessed by OPR is handled in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation as implemented by the Data Protection Act 2018.
References to “our” are references to OPR. References to “your”, “their” and “they” are references to the User.
This Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use form the complete agreement for how all Personal Information will be processed by OPR. Use of the Websites and Services conveys agreement to the methods outlined in this Privacy Policy, if the User does not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy they should halt use of the Websites and Services.
OPR reserves the right to update or alter the terms of this Privacy Policy at any time without notice to the User. The User is encouraged to continually check this Privacy Policy for changes.
Managing your data
If the User does not want to hear from OPR they may halt all communication at any point by using the “unsubscribe” link in our emails or by contacting admin@openpharmaresearch.com.
The User reserves the right to know what Personal Information is held by OPR, how to gain access to such information, how to update such information and how OPR is complying with the Data Protection Act 2018. The User can do so by contacting admin@openpharmaresearch.com providing they attach the relevant contact details to match the held Personal Information and proof of identity.
The User may withdraw their consent for OPR’s data collection and processing, modify, correct or delete their Personal Information by contacting admin@openpharmaresearch.com.
Security
OPR protects the security of your Personal Information and data through HubSpot’s world-leading security safeguards and periodical monitoring for errors and vulnerabilities.
OPR cannot guarantee 100% security or privacy of Personal Information due to unforeseeable errors of our technical safeguards. The User is responsible for protection of account details including but not limited to your username and password.
Types of Information Collected
OPR may collect Non-Personal Information on our server logs from the User’s browser or mobile application regarding usage and service operation, including but not limited to location, IP address, browser type, how many users are viewing the Websites, event mailings and communications.
In order to use some OPR Services your Personal Information may be collected. When registering for events or downloading event content Personal Information including but not limited to your name, e-mail address, phone number, address, company, job title and billing information will be taken. By registering for an upcoming event, the User acknowledges that a profile will be made using their name, job title and company name which OPR and fellow delegates can access. Payment information may be collected to facilitate event registration but will not be retained by OPR servers. Third-party payment services will have access to the User’s payment information for the processing of their payments.
OPR may automatically collect Aggregate Information that cannot be used to identify the User, including but not limited to referral data, pages viewed and time spent on the Websites.
OPR may collect Log Files when the User downloads content from the Websites.
OPR may collect Cookies from the User when accessing the Websites. The User may modify their Cookies or reject them altogether through browser preferences. The User should be aware that the latter may result in features of the Websites not working on their browser.
By using the Websites and Services the User consents to our use of cookie, storage and data collection in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
How your Information is Used
By registering for OPR’s Services, the User acknowledges that their name and company information will be seen by fellow delegates on a secure site to encourage collaboration and communication among members.
OPR may communicate with the User via e-mail or other available mediums related to availability of our Services or promotional messages related to upcoming events. OPR may also communicate with the User via e-mail related to practical information for the registered event. To opt out of this communication the User should follow the “unsubscribe” link in our e-mails.
OPR may share the User’s Information with third-parties related to the registered event such as their job title or company name but will not share any Personal Information such as their name or contact details.
OPR will not sell, rent or lease any User’s Personal Information to third-parties for marketing purposes.
General
The User acknowledges that when accessing third-party websites through our Websites and Services, OPR has no control over and does not represent the policies and practices of such websites. The User should exercise caution when accessing third-party websites and do so at their own risk.
