Pistoia Alliance is a global, not-for-profit members’ organization working to lower barriers to innovation in life science and healthcare R&D. The Pistoia Alliance brings together more than 100 member companies from life science companies, technology and service providers, publishers, and academic groups to transform R&D through pre-competitive collaboration.
Together, we overcome common R&D obstacles by identifying root causes, developing standards and best practices, sharing pre-competitive data and knowledge, and executing technology pilots. From AI to chemical safety to data standards, members collaborate on projects of significant value for the worldwide life sciences R&D community, using The Pistoia Alliance’s framework for open innovation.
My Green Lab is fundamentally and permanently improving the sustainability of scientific research. As a non-profit, we were formed to unify and lead scientists, vendors, designers, energy providers, and others in a common drive toward a world in which all research reflects the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility. Run “for scientists, by scientists,” we leverage our credibility and track record to develop standards, oversee their implementation, and inspire the many behavioral changes that are needed throughout the scientific community. Though My Green Lab focuses solely on laboratory environments, we believe our activities will excite similar changes across other industries, and in the private lives of the millions of people who spend their time in labs.
The SiLA Consortium is non-profit. It gathers life science experts and mobilizes the industry while developing free & open system communication and data standards to connect scientists with the data that matters.
SiLA and its members provide a framework for the exchange, integration, sharing, and retrieval of electronic laboratory information. These standards define how information is transported from one system to another. Setting the language, structure and data types required for seamless integration, SiLA supports the management, delivery, and evaluation of laboratory services. SiLA is recognized as most commonly used in the world.
