Keynote Sessions
Our keynote sessions set the tone for the entire congress, bringing together thought leaders from leading companies to share their vision of what’s shaping the lab of the future. These high-level talks focus on company-wide transformation, exploring how to adopt emerging technologies, address global scientific and operational challenges, and embrace evolving innovation models.
AI to Innovate
This session explores how AI is reshaping R&D across the R&D value chain: AI to Optimize, covers the latest thinking in the use of AI to enhance efficiency, streamline execution, and support better decision making across research workflows. AI Driven Drug Discovery & Development focuses on the applying advanced AI tools to unlock new biological insights, enable novel discovery pathways, and fundamentally transform how drugs are identified and developed.
- AI to optimize- Using AI to improve efficiency, execution, and decision-making in day-to-day R&D.
- AI driven drug discovery and development – AI Enabling New Science. Applying AI to generate insight, reveal new biology, and fundamentally change how discovery happens.
The Collaborative Ecosystem
This forward looking session examines the emergence of a collaborative ecosystem in biopharma R&D, and the organizational change and cultural transformation needed to support it. In our People Imperative session, we will also explore how enabling science beyond traditional boundaries requires new ways of working, new partnership mindsets, and leadership that supports openness and shared outcomes. In our Scaling Science session, we will highlight the critical role of digital technologies in connecting people, data, and capabilities to make cross-organizational collaboration both practical and scalable.
- Scaling science Discovery Beyond Organizational Boundaries. Enabling federated, collaborative science across sites, partners, platforms, and institutions.
- The People Imperative – The Human Side of the Lab of the Future. Ensuring skills, culture, and ways of working evolve alongside technology.
Digital First R&D
Digital First R&D is turning the traditional BioPharma R&D model on its head by placing from the outset data, AI, and connected technologies at the heart of drug development. This session will cover the innovative thinking that is driving earlier, digital-led biopharma R&D from target discovery to development.
- Digital Transformation – Digitalising laboratories, workflows, and data as the foundation for everything that follows.
- Decision-Ready Data – Designing data strategies that start with decisions, not dashboards. Creating contextual, usable, insight-ready data to inform decision making.
The Orchestrated Lab
This session will look at how we can create an Orchestrated Lab environment where teams, workflows, equipment, and data systems are digitally linked and managed together so they operate as a single, connected process instead of as separate, isolated parts. The Automated Lab- From Automation to Orchestration, addresses the challenges of moving beyond isolated automation toward coordinated workflows involving software, robotics, and people. The Connected Lab – Integrated, End-to-End Laboratories will examine how we can breaking silos by connecting instruments, systems, data, and teams across the lab.
