Melanie Leveridge
Melanie Leveridge joined AstraZeneca in 2024 as Vice President of Assays, Profiling and Cell Sciences. In this role she leads a global team accountable for generation of cellular reagents, assay development, compound profiling and mechanism of action studies, partnering with the therapy areas to progress AstraZeneca’s discovery portfolio. Prior to her time at AstraZeneca Mel spent 19 years at GSK, in roles including Senior Director of Screening, Profiling and Mechanistic Biology and head of Global Sample Management. Mel serves as a board member for non-profit organisations supporting education and collaboration in the life sciences sector, including the Society for Lab Automation and Screening (SLAS), OneNucleus, and previously as chair of the board for ELRIG.
