John Harman, received B.S. Chemical Physics and B.A. Criminal Justice from CSU San Diego in 2000.  Employed at Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. for 20 years he made the conscious decision to shift away from being “IN THE LAB” to focus on finding, developing, and implementing technology “FOR THE LAB”.  John pioneered new analytical technology and compound management automated processes in the early 2000s.  From there he expanded into implementing and augmenting commercial LIMS/ELN systems by writing software to fully automate the small molecule “DMTA” cycle in the mid 2010’s.

For the past 7 years John has focused on driving software product development and product management during which he worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Strateos leading product teams and collaborating with a wide variety of clients.

John is now compelled to accelerate drug discovery and development globally by consulting to improve the effectiveness of numerous companies while also building a new generation of laboratory software to streamline the scientists’ experience and condense the fragmented IT solutions ecosystem we are forced to implement today. John intends to reduce the time and cost for drug development by 50% within the next 15 years.
