Michael Rummel

Michael is a University of Wisconsin-Madison alumni with a degree in Biochemistry. Pursuing a career in separation sciences, Michael developed expertise in liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry assay development and validation. Pairing those skills with a passion for the clinical laboratory field, he started a specialized CLIA certified and CAP accredited laboratory in 2012 and held the position of COO until 2019. In 2019, that company transitioned into LetsGetChecked Labs and he currently holds the position of Chief Laboratory Officer. LetsGetChecked has a global presence with bespoke laboratories specializing in assaying self-collected patient specimens.
