Terms and Conditions for Congress Delegates
1. Definitions and Interpretation
1.1. In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
• “Congress” refers to the event for which the Delegate registered to attend.
• “Delegate” refers to any individual registering to attend the Congress organised by OPR.
• “Guest Pass” refers to a free ticket/VIP pass to attend the Congress, provided by OPR at its sole discretion.
• “OPR” refers to Open Pharma Research Ltd.
• “Registration Price” refers to the value paid by the Parties for a registration pass.
• “Parties” refers to Delegates and/or any individual registering on behalf of a Delegate to attend the Congress organised by OPR.
1.2. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between OPR and the Parties.

2. Registration Process
2.1. Parties must complete the registration process via the OPR registration platform and provide accurate and complete information.
2.2. OPR offers three types of registration pass at varying price points. OPR reserves the right to determine the appropriate pass type for each Delegate based on the information provided during registration.
2.3. Registration is subject to acceptance by OPR. OPR reserves the right to alter and/or change a registration pass and/or Guest Pass after receipt of registration.

3. Payment Terms
3.1. All Parties are required to pay the full Registration Price in advance of attending the Congress.
3.2. Payment must be made through the methods specified on the OPR registration platform. Parties will be given the choice of immediate payment or payment via invoice provided by OPR.
3.3. If the full price of the registration pass is not paid by the date specified on the invoice, the Parties will be subject to the advertised registration Price at the date of payment.
3.4. OPR reserves the right to deny entry to the Congress if full payment has not been received prior to the event.

4. Cancellations, Changes and Rejections
4.1. Delegates may cancel their registration up to 14 days before the date of the Congress and receive a refund subject to a processing and administration fee of 10% of the Registration Price.
4.2. Delegates cancelling their registration within 14 days of the date of the Congress will not be provided a refund.
4.3. OPR reserves the right to reject changes of Delegate relating to a registration pass or Guest Pass where reasonable notice is not provided.
4.4. OPR reserves the right to refuse entry to Delegates at its discretion. In such cases, OPR will refund the registration pass, subject to Clause 4.1.
4.5. If a Delegate violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in conduct deemed inappropriate by OPR, OPR reserves the right to eject the Delegate from the Congress. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

5. Event Changes and Cancellations
5.1. OPR reserves the right to modify the Congress programme, schedule, speakers, or venue without prior notice.
5.2. In the unlikely event of Congress cancellation, OPR will refund the full registration pass. OPR shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by Delegates, including travel or accommodation expenses.

6. Delegate Conduct
6.1. Delegates are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times during the Congress.
6.2. OPR reserves the right to remove any Delegate from the Congress for behaviour it deems inappropriate, including but not limited to harassment, disruption, or failure to comply with requests from OPR staff. No refund will be provided in such cases.

7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All content presented at the Congress, including but not limited to presentations, materials, and recordings, remains the intellectual property of OPR or the respective speakers. Delegates may not record, reproduce, or distribute content (written or otherwise) from the speaker presentations without prior written permission from OPR.

8. Data Protection and Privacy
8.1. OPR’s full Privacy Policy can be found here.
8.2. OPR collects and stores Delegate data in accordance with the European Union Data Protection Act 2018.
8.3. By registering for the Congress, Delegates consent to the collection and use of their data for administrative and marketing purposes related to the Congress.
8.4. OPR reserves the right to take photographs and videos of Delegates during the Congress and distribute them on OPR’s social media platforms. Delegates who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must inform OPR in writing prior to the Congress.

9. Liability
9.1. OPR shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred by Delegates during the Congress unless caused by OPR’s negligence.
9.2. OPR’s total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the Congress shall not exceed the amount paid by the Delegate for the registration pass.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
